Overview
A multidisciplinary project involving animation, voice acting, gaming-type logic, voice recognition, and more.
This law enforcement project for VR was particularly challenging because of the many features involved in making a real-life warrant situation. The goal of the program was to place a law enforcement trainee in the program and have them walk up to and move through a home to serve a warrant. While they move through the home, they encounter a number of different characters. Some comply with commands given to them and some do not. During the course of this project I implemented: * Finding realistic weapon and police models
* Weapons can be fire
* Animate all NPCs and players
* Track trainees moving through the house taking the proper actions to pass or fail the scenario
* Implemented Normcore in Unity for multiple trainees to participate together in multiplayer
* Networked all animations, doors, weapons, NPC reactions, and scenario results
* Implement several ways to fail such as injuring a non-violent suspect, not securing them properly, not announcing, and more.
